Meet Mellissa

About Mellissa Baskall

I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.A. in Social Sciences and a teaching certificate. I also earned my Master of Arts degree in Teaching.  I have taught preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, first/second grade combination class and fourth grade.  I met my husband, David, while we were both serving in the United States Army Reserves.  We have two beautiful daughters.  As a family, we love to spend time in our Rocky Mountains camping, hiking, and skiing.   Reading and playing with our two dogs are also a popular pastimes at our house.  My mission as a teacher is to provide a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment, where children can build upon their successes to develop to their fullest potential and begin their journey as life long learners. I am committed to encouraging and challenging your child throughout this exhilarating school year. I am excited to begin working along with you in your child's education. I look forward to continued communication with you during your child's school year!
